Graduation day for proud police recruits

NORTH PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- It was a proud day Friday for police recruits in North Philadelphia.

70 new officers graduated during a ceremony at the Temple University Performing Arts Center.

Mayor Jim Kenney and Police commissioner Richard Ross addressed class number 387.

The new offers vary in gender and cultural backgrounds, and range in age from 22 to 48.
