Van crashes into newsstand in Northeast Philadelphia

NORTHEAST PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- First responders were on the scene after an out-of-control van hit a newsstand in the Northeast Philadelphia.

It happened before 10:00 a.m. Tuesday on Frankford Avenue at Oxford Street.

An image tweeted by Action News reporter Chad Pradelli showed what appeared to be moderate damage to both the newsstand and the van.

There were no reports of injuries from the crash.

The newsstand was shuttered at the time, and no one was inside.
