DART bus and SUV crash in Wilmington

WILMINGTON, Del. (WPVI) -- Seven people were taken to the hospital after a DART bus and SUV crashed in Wilmington, Delaware.

The accident happened before 11:00 a.m. Wednesday at the intersection of 11th and Walnut Streets.

Police say the driver in the SUV was trapped for fifteen minutes and had to be rescued.

Four adults and three minors were taken to area hospitals for treatment. Those hospitals included St Francis, Wilmington and Christiana.

None of the injuries appear to be life threatening, police say.

The crash is under investigation.
