Serial burglary suspect arrested in Delaware

CLAYMONT, Del. (WPVI) -- Delaware State Police have arrested a man in connection with four burglaries along Philadelphia Pike in Claymont.

Troopers say 30-year-old Jeffrey Chiffens is suspected of burglarizing the BP gas station in the 3400 block of Philadelphia Pike three times between April 2nd and April 18th.

They say Chiffens is also responsible for the burglary of a Family Dollar store in the 3600 block of Philadelphia Pike on April 18th.

Chiffens now faces multiple burglary and drug possession charges.

Officials expect more charges to be filed.
