Tractor trailer, car collide in fiery Wilmington crash

WILMINGTON, Del. (WPVI) -- A fiery accident shut down a Wilmington intersection Tuesday afternoon.

A truck and a car erupted in flames after they collided at Walnut and A Streets just before 1:00.

Despite the damage the tractor trailer driver walked away unharmed.

The driver of the sedan had just minor injuries.

Traffic was backed up as police closed the area while they cleared the wreckage.

The cause of the accident remains under investigation.
