Man critically injured after Delaware shooting

NEW CASTLE CO., Del. (WPVI) -- A man is in critical condition after a shooting in New Castle County, Delaware.

It happened around 6:30 p.m. Saturday along the unit block of Chesterfield Drive.

The 45-year-old man was shot in the mid-section in the Overview Gardens community.

Responding medics rushed him to Christiana Hospital for treatment.

There are no arrests or word on a motive for the shooting.
