I-495 SB in Delaware reopens after multi-vehicle crash

NEWPORT, Del. (WPVI) -- Interstate 495 southbound at the I-95 split in Delaware has reopened after an earlier multi-vehicle crash.

It happened shortly before 4 p.m. Monday.

Video from Chopper 6 HD showed a tree service truck overturned on the highway while a tractor-trailer was stopped nearby.

The tractor-trailer was stopped nearby with front-end damage. It appears the truck hit a piece of equipment being towed by the tree service truck.

There was no immediate word on any injuries.
