Suspects in Maryland double murder arrested in Trenton

TRENTON (WPVI) -- Two people were arrested in Trenton, New Jersey for a double murder last week in Maryland.

Police say 25-year-old Derrick Carroll fled from Cecil County after allegedly stabbing a husband and wife.

The victims were 79-year-old Earl Loomis and 76-year-old Mary Ann Loomis.

Investigators say Carroll knew the victims through a relationship with a family members of the victims.

Ellen Lough, 27, who allegedly helped plan the attack, was also arrested over the weekend.

Police say other people may have been involved in this crime.
