Volunteers in Camden build entire playground in a day

CAMDEN, N.J. (WPVI) -- Hundreds of volunteers put in a day's work to make sure children have a place to play for years to come.

The volunteers built an entire playground Thursday at the Camden Children's Garden.

They also spruced up the surrounding area.

The project is part of the Dr. Pepper Snapple Group's "Let's Play" initiative.

In partnership with KaBOOM!, the group has built or improved more than 2,000 playgrounds since 2011.
