GLOUCESTER TWP., N.J. (WPVI) -- Two people are under arrest following a robbery that led to the lockout of several schools in Gloucester Township, New Jersey.
Police were called around 11:30 a.m. Wednesday to a home on the 100 block of York Terrace.
It all began when a resident ran from his house and told police several suspects had broken into his home and assaulted him.
Police quickly took two suspects in custody, but were told a possible third suspect had fled on foot.
That prompted the search. which led to several nearby schools being placed in a lockout, as a precaution.
No other suspect was found and, after about an hour, police lifted the school lockdown.
