Horse rescued from ditch in Delaware County

EDGMONT TWP., Pa. (WPVI) -- A horse had to be rescued after getting stuck in a ditch in Edgmont Township, Delaware County.

The call came in around 5:30 p.m. Friday along the 1500 block of North New Middletown Road.

It took crews nearly an hour to free the trapped animal.

Both the horse and the rider are said to be okay.
