Rock-N-Roar is Back with a Bang. Kick off the season with the area's top family-friendly performers as they sing, dance and entertain on the Impala Lawn stage. Pack your blanket, put on your dancing shoes and join the Zoo every other Tuesday at 11:00 a.m for this fun-for-all-ages concert series.

Summer Ale Festival.
Lions, Tigers and Brews - Oh My! Nothing says summer like Philadelphia Zoo's annual Summer Ale Festival happening on Saturday, July 16th. This exciting event features regional craft beers available throughout the Zoo's gardens. You can compare and discuss beers with the brewers themselves and purchase fresh, local fare from the region's hippest food trucks. Live music, amazing animals and a complimentary shuttle from 30th Street Station are all included in this once-a-year experience.
The Watering Hole, Philadelphia Zoo's new beer garden, is a great place for guests to chill, grab a specialty beer and tasty treat while enjoying the gorgeous scenery of this beautiful oasis. This cool new spot is located in the heart of the Zoo, and features outdoor seating made of reclaimed timber and distressed metals. Classics such as burgers, chicken fingers, fries and salads are available at a walk-up counter to pair with a hefty beer menu offering regional and domestic craft beers.
Boo at the Zoo
Don't miss the Zoo's annual Halloween extravaganza. At Boo at the Zoo, kids are invited to come in costume, visit their favorite animals and trick-or-treat at stations throughout the Zoo, collecting sweets and treats along the way. This wild extravaganza also features spellbinding storytelling, creepy crafts and ghoulish games such as pumpkin bowling, tombstone musical chairs and more.
