Soldier returns home for holidays after year away

NORRISTOWN, Pa. (WPVI) -- A soldier who has been deployed for nearly a year is back home for the holidays.

Police gave Sergeant William Roman an escort to his Norristown home Wednesday night.

It was an emotional reunion for Roman and his family members.

Roman had been deployed in the Middle East since January.
