Fire damages home in Melrose Park

MELROSE PARK (WPVI) -- Philadelphia firefighters battled a row house fire in the city's Melrose Park section.

The blaze broke out at 10:30 a.m. Friday in the 100 block of East Cheltenham Avenue.

Video from Chopper 6 HD showed several firefighting units pouring water on the home.

Action News is told everyone made it out of the house safely.

No injuries have been reported.

There was no immediate word what sparked the blaze.
