PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- Left wing Michael Raffl will be out six weeks due to a lower-body injury, the Philadelphia Flyers announced Wednesday.

Raffl did not finish the second half of the third period in Tuesday night's 4-1 win over the Edmonton Oilers.

He did not participate in Wednesday's practice.

General Manager Ron Hextall made the announcement to the media shortly afterwards.
