Pedestrian struck and killed in Gloucester County

FRANKLIN TWP., New Jersey (WPVI) -- A pedestrian was struck and killed in Franklin Township, Gloucester County.
It happened around 2:45 a.m. Friday on the southbound lanes of Route 55 near Exit 39.
New Jersey State Police is investigating.
There is no word on the striking vehicle at this time.
