Man stabbed in the neck in Grays Ferry

GRAYS FERRY (WPVI) -- Police believe a man was stabbed in the Philadelphia section of Grays Ferry Friday night.

The incident happened around 11:15 p.m. along the 1500 block of South Bailey.

Police are sorting out the details, but they say a man was stabbed in the neck. He was taken by private auto to an area hospital.

Officers are checking hospitals to try to locate that person.

Investigators believe they also have a lead on a suspect.
