Hazmat Crews responded to the University Of Pennsylvania School Of Dentistry after a bio-hazard spill was reported early Thursday morning.

WEST PHILADELPHIA -- A hazardous materials team responded to the University Of Pennsylvania School Of Dentistry after a bio-hazard spill was reported early Thursday morning.



The school's cleanup staff discovered the spill just before 2:00 a.m. Thursday inside a second floor laboratory on the 200 block of South 40th Street in University City.



They contacted authorities, who determined the spill was a non-lethal clear liquid leaking from a plastic tank.



The incident was officially declared under control by 3:20 a.m.



No one was injured.
