NEW YORK (WPVI) -- Families in New York can no longer use religious exemptions to forego vaccinating their children.
Lawmakers made the move official last Thursday.
This comes as the country faces the worst measles outbreak in decades.
Over 1,000 cases have been reported in 2019 so far, which is the highest in 27 years.
