Officials say a fire damaged three houses in Camden, New Jersey early Thursday morning.

CAMDEN, N.J. (WPVI) -- Officials say a fire damaged three vacant houses in Camden, New Jersey early Thursday morning.



The blaze broke out around 1:30 a.m. on the 700 block of Spruce Street near Douglass Street.



Firefighters arrived to heavy flames that quickly went to 2-alarms.



Fire officials says they had an unconfirmed report of vagrants exiting the property at the time of the fire, but nobody was found and there were no injuries to civilians or firefighters.



It took crews about 90 minutes to get the blaze under control.



The cause of the fire is "undetermined" at this time and remains under investigation.



The properties are expected to be demolished within the next few days.



Two vehicles also suffered damage to heat exposure from the fire.
