Flames damage house in West Mount Airy

WEST MOUNT AIRY (WPVI) -- A fire damaged a house in Philadelphia's West Mount Airy section early Thursday morning.

The fire started around 2:30 a.m. on the 1000 block of East Mount Airy Avenue.

Firefighters arrived to smoke showing throughout the first floor of a two-story twin house.

Crews quickly worked to get the fire under control.

There were no reports of injuries.

The cause of the blaze is under investigation.
