OXFORD, Pa. (WPVI) -- It was a nice morning for a walk, and students in Oxford, Chester County took full advantage of that, for a good cause.
Four schools in the area took part in the annual JDRF kids walk to cure diabetes.
According to the national diabetes foundation, every day 40 children in the U.S. are diagnosed with type 1 diabetes.
With that in mind these youngsters, along with their teachers walked around the track, in an effort raise money and awareness in the fight to cure junior diabetes.
