Food, music, dancing and donations

WEST PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- It was a party with a purpose Monday night in West Philadelphia.

Pennsylvania State Senator Vincent Hughes and his wife, actress Sheryl Lee Ralph, hosted a holiday party.

There was food, music and dancing.

Party-goers also got involved by donating non-perishable food items.
