Community picnic in Wissinoming park

WISSINOMING (WPVI) -- It was a rocking good time at an outdoor party Thursday.

Dozens of children and their families turned out for a community picnic.

Hosted by state senator Christine Tartaglione and officers from the 15th Police District.

It was held in Frankford at the Wissinoming Park.

The picnic featured free refreshments, a DJ, back-to-school giveaways and the child fingerprinting safety program.
