Jim Gardner honored by Philadelphia City Council

PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- Our own Action News anchor Jim Gardner was honored Thursday for his decades of hard work here at 6abc.

The Philadelphia City Council recognized Jim for his forty years of outstanding television journalism.

He received a council proclamation and a Liberty Bell Award.

The ceremony was sponsored by Councilman Al Taubenberger and every council member took part in honoring Jim.

Jim shared his award with his wife Amy and his Action News family.
