Driver, 4 students injured in Kensington bus crash

KENSINGTON (WPVI) -- A school bus driver and four students were taken to the hospital after a crash in Philadelphia's Kensington section.

The accident occurred around 8 a.m. near the intersection of 2nd and Ontario streets.

Officials say the school bus collided with a police vehicle.

Medics took the driver to Temple University Hospital and she is expected to be okay.

The officer was also taken to Temple and he is expected to be treated and released.

The children ranged in age from 5-11-years-old. Two suffered minor injuries while the other two children have no apparent injuries.

All four were taken to St. Christopher's Hospital to be checked.

The crash is under investigation.
