Mom applies full makeup while in labor

Photos of a mom in labor with a flawless face have been taking social media by storm.

Contractions and all, 27-year-old Alaha Karimi, posted the pictures of her putting on makeup while preparing for baby.

Karimi, a luxury business consultant - and of course, makeup artist - from New York, says she was kind of surprised her pictures are that popular.

She says it's what she does for a living and it helped keep her mind off the pain.

Also, she tells Action News she was in labor for 10 hours, so she had a little bit of time on her hands.

Her sister, Fareshta, snapped the pics and social media is mostly loving them, most using the hashatg #laborgoals!

When the pain did get bad, her hubby stepped in do some contouring. She says he was the best labor partner and pretty phenomenal with the brush too!

But perhaps the most beautiful shot of all is of little Sofia Alaya, 8 lbs 13 oz, snuggled by her gorgeous mom.
