VOORHEES, N.J. -- Officials are investigating if a lightning strike caused an apartment fire in Voorhees, New Jersey Thursday night.
The fire broke out around 8:45 p.m. on the 2500 block of Berwyn Court.
Firefighters arrived to heavy flames showing on a third floor apartment.
It took about an hour to get the fire under control.
One firefighter was treated at the scene for smoke inhalation.
Four families were displaced and no other injuries were reported.
The cause of the blaze remains under investigation.
