An all-star lineup took center stage at the Honda Center in Anaheim for D23's Disney Entertainment Showcase. Here's a look at the biggest announcements.

ANAHEIM, Calif. -- From newly announced movies to rides and lands under construction at Disney parks around the world, we're bringing you all the live updates from D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event.
This gathering of official Disney fan club members takes place at the Anaheim Convention Center and Honda Center in Anaheim, California through Sunday.
The Honda Center was home to the Disney Entertainment Showcase Friday night. It will host Horizons: Disney Experiences Showcase Saturday night and the Disney Legends Award Ceremony on Sunday afternoon.

'The Simpsons' gives season sneak-peek during D23 panel
"The Simpsons" gave a season sneak-peek during the "Stories From Springfield" panel at D23.

The writers of long-running show sat down to share stills of upcoming episodes with panel attendees, including a full episode screening of the episode "Yellow Mirror," coming to Disney+ Aug. 26.
From guest star Emma Thompson to a brand new "Treehouse of Horror" featuring body-swapping, the panelists promised the show will continue to get weirder and weirder!

Asad Ayaz says there are Easter eggs sprinkled throughout D23
D23 this year is bigger than ever, featuring a show floor packed with more than 50 immersive booths.
Asad Ayaz, chief marketing and brand officer for The Walt Disney Company, said there are Easter eggs sprinkled throughout the event and fans will see all sorts of fun, behind-the-scenes treats like new outfits.
