Customer allegedly shoots, kills worker during dispute at auto shop in Philadelphia's Ogontz section

PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- A customer allegedly fatally shot a worker at an auto-body repair shop Friday in Philadelphia's Ogontz section.

A witness told Action News that the shooting was allegedly over a dispute regarding repair work.

Police responded to the 5900 block of Ogontz Avenue around 8:30 a.m.

When they arrived, officers found a 70-year-old man who had been shot.

He was taken to Jefferson Einstein Philadelphia Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

Officials say the suspected shooter into custody.

The Homicide Unit is investigating. The investigation remains active and ongoing.
