PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- Tuesday is Election Day and Pennsylvania is key in the 2024 presidential election, as its 19 electoral votes offer the largest prize among the swing states expected to determine the Electoral College outcome.

The two candidates deadlocked in Pennsylvania, according to ABC News.

Pennsylvania's U.S. Senate will help determine control of the chamber. There is also a focus on Senate races in New Jersey and Delaware. Democrats currently hold a Senate majority by the narrowest of margins.

Rep. Wild faces tough re-election battle against State Rep. Mackenzie

In Pennsylvania's 7th Congressional District, three-term Democratic U.S. Rep. Susan Wild is facing state Rep. Ryan Mackenzie.

Wild, a former city government lawyer, won by fewer than 2 points in 2022 and is a perennial target for Republicans.

Economic issues and immigration are big issues here, according to Mackenzie. He currently represents part of the district in the state house.

Pennsylvania's 7th congressional district covers all of Lehigh and Northampton counties and parts of Monroe County. It's a very diverse district centered around Allentown.

The latest polling from Muhlenberg College, which was from about a month ago, showed Wild ahead of McKenzie by six points.

DA Krasner responds after Trump posts about cheating in Philadelphia

Philadelphia District Attorney Larry Krasner is challenging Donald Trump to provide proof after the Republican presidential candidate baselessly claimed there is talk of "massive cheating' in the city.

Trump posted on social media Tuesday afternoon that there is "a lot of talk about massive CHEATING in Philadelphia," despite no evidence to support those claims.

In a statement released Tuesday evening, Krasner said:

"The only talk about massive cheating has come from one of the candidates, Donald J. Trump. There is no factual basis whatsoever within law enforcement to support this wild allegation. We have invited complaints and allegations of improprieties all day.

"If Donald J. Trump has any facts to support his wild allegations, we want them now. Right now. We are not holding our breath."

In another statement, the Pennsylvania Department of State said "Pennsylvania counties, including Philadelphia, are running a safe and secure election."

Burlington County voters face long lines after technical glitch

At the Westampton Municipal Building in Burlington County on Tuesday afternoon, a line snaked out the doors, down the parking lot and into a gate that held county vehicles and equipment.

All the people standing in that long line were waiting to vote. Polling locations across the county experienced long wait times, which was due in part to a technical glitch that happened as polling locations were opening Tuesday morning.

Burlington County voters face long lines after technical glitch on Election Day

"The machines were down or something wasn't working so they said it was a two-and-a-half hour wait," said Megan Cavanaugh as she waited at a polling location in Cinnaminson.

The tiny building had a long line of people whose parked cars crowded the small neighborhood. Penelope Williams was one of those voters who were surprised to see such a long line when she arrived to cast her ballot. She said an elections worker updated the crowd periodically.

"He was saying everybody wants a paper ballot so it takes a little longer," she said.

Burlington County officials say there were technical glitches early Tuesday morning at several polling locations. Officials could not provide an exact number of how many polling locations were impacted, but they say the issues ranged from connectivity problems to trouble getting the machines up and running.

County officials say the technical issues were not caused by anything "nefarious."

The issues were fixed by mid-morning, however, as a large number of voters continued showing up, the lines kept growing. It led to waits that were more than two hours long in some locations.

Trump baselessly claims "massive cheating" in Philadelphia

Former President Donald Trump baselessly claimed on social media on Tuesday afternoon that there is "a lot of talk about massive CHEATING in Philadelphia," despite no evidence to support those claims.

In fact, Philadelphia District Attorney Larry Krasner said Tuesday his office does not have reports of anything that looks like voter fraud.

"We do not expect to have it, but if it's there, we want to know about it. We don't want to hear a bunch of crazy fiction later about how things happen," Krasner said.

"If we start to hear about it at nine o'clock after the polls are closed, you should be rightly suspicious of what you are hearing," Krasner continued.

The post comes as Trump has been basely accusing the key battleground state of cheating for days.

ABC News has previously reported on small instances around the state, including multiple counties investigating potential voter fraud registrations. Philadelphia was not one of those counties, according to the attorney general.
