Man killed across the street from his Germantown home

GERMANTOWN (WPVI) -- A man died after being shot several times across the street from his home in the Germantown section of Philadelphia.

The gunfire erupted on the unit block of East Garfield Street around 2 a.m. Tuesday.

Police say the 41-year old victim was found outside of his car with his driver side window shot out.

Investigators also say bullets went into a nearby home, but no one inside was injured.

There is no word on suspects or a motive.
