Monday marks the Martin Luther King, Jr. holiday.
Many will use the day to give back to the community in the spirit of Dr. King's legacy.
This year, 140,000 volunteers are expected to serve in 1,800 projects around the Delaware Valley.
It's a mission that Dr. King would no doubt, be very proud of.
Todd Bernstein, the founder and director of the Greater Philadelphia MLK Day of Service, joined Action News joined Action News Sunday morning.
Their signature project site will be at Girard College in North Philadelphia, where 5,000 volunteers and some 150 activities will take place-- projects, workshops, trainings, health fair, civic engagement expo, 5th annual Jobs & Opportunity Fair and the Philadelphia Orchestra's 26thannual King Tribute Concert.
