1 injured, 3 arrested in Mayfair shooting

MAYFAIR (WPVI) -- A man is hospitalized and three people are under arrest after a shooting in Philadelphia's Mayfair section.

The shooting happened shortly before 6:30 p.m. Monday along the 3100 block of Barnett Street.

Police say a man was shot in the buttocks. He was rushed to Temple University Hospital in stable condition.

Based on the description of the suspects, responding officers managed to make three apprehensions. Two suspects were arrested along the 1700 block of Brill Street. Police made a third arrest on the 5400 block of Tackawanna in the city's Wissinoming section.

A weapon was also recovered.
