VIDEO: 'Move the Tent' on the Parkway
Visitors are asking for a tent to be removed from the Parkway.

BEN FRANKLIN PARKWAY (WPVI) -- Visitors gathering on the Benjamin Franklin Parkway for the papal Mass were fearing they wouldn't be able to see it because of a tent blocking their view. That all changed when officials said the tent was coming down.

The white tent was located in front of where many would sit to see Pope Francis celebrate Mass beginning at 4:00 p.m.

The tent was set up by the Philadelphia Orchestra in case of rain, in order to protect their instruments and electrical equipment.

A crowd at the Parkway began chanting 'Take the tent down' and 'Move the tent.'

Social media users expressed their outrage on Twitter, some using #MoveTheTent to get their cause trending.

The Philadelphia Orchestra soon responded on Twitter to say they were aware of the issue.

Moments later, the City of Philadelphia and Philadelphia Police Department tweeted the tent was coming down.

It looks like another win for social media.
