Police ID woman found dead on side of road

NEW CASTLE, Del. (WPVI) -- Authorities have released the name of the woman whose body was found on a New Castle road.

36-year-old Lisa McCrossan, of New Castle, was found lying along the side of Route 9 on Sunday.

Police say she was the victim of a homicide, but they aren't yet saying exactly how she died.

As of now, no arrests have been made.
