Atlantic City ordinance to allow beach bonfires

ATLANTIC CITY, N.J. (WPVI) -- Bonfires will now be permitted on Atlantic City beaches.

Under the ordinance, they will have to measure a certain size to meet safety standards.

Officials plan to search for potential locations.

Right now, fire pits will only be permitted from December to February.
