Hazmat situation forces evacuations in Trenton

TRENTON, N.J. (WPVI) -- A hazmat situation has forced the evacuation of an apartment building in Trenton.

Firefighters were called to the 600 block of Centre Street just after 9:30 a.m. Saturday for reports of a strong odor.

Some residents inside the building reported burning eyes from the odor, but no injuries have been reported.

It's still not clear at this time what is causing the odor.
