MOUNT HOLLY, N.J. (WPVI) -- A woman is charged with shooting and killing her partner inside their Mount Holly, New Jersey home on Sunday.

Laura Bluestein, 28, is charged with murder in the death of 29-year-old Felicia Dormans.

The Burlington County Prosecutor's Office said Bluestein told police she and Dormans were married.

Officers were called to the home in the 100 block of Mill Street after report of a possible assault.

Once they arrived, they found Dormans with a gunshot wound to the face. She was pronounced dead at the scene.

Bluestein was taken into custody without incident.

Neighbors barely knew Bluestein and Dormans. They hadn't lived in the area very long.

"They're neighbors. They always said hi, you know," one neighbor told us. "No problems at all. But they didn't seem like that would occur... They were friendly."

A motive for the shooting remains under investigation, the prosecutor's office said.
