BETHLEHEM, Pa. -- Firefighters in Bethlehem battled a three-alarm fire Thursday.

The fire started shortly before 10 a.m. at a twin home on the 1600 block of East 8th Street.

Chopper 6 over the scene showed flames and smoke billowing from the building.

Firefighters in Bethlehem work to control a three-alarm fire.

The Red Cross says approximately three homes have been affected. They are assisting a total of four families, 10 people, with lodging, food, and clothing.

There is no word on injuries.

It is not clear what started the fire at this time.
