Auto dealership owner Michael Chapman dies

Michael Chapman, the owner of Chapman Auto Stores, has died after a lengthy illness, Action News has learned. He was 53.

"Michael was a loving husband, father, son, brother and uncle, a loyal friend and confidant to so many, an exceptional businessman and a philanthropist to numerous charities throughout the Delaware Valley," the dealership said in a statement.

Chapman is survived by his wife, Kate, and three children, Avery, Michael and Charli.

Funeral arrangements have not been announced at this time.
