2 injured after car hits Camden police cruiser

CAMDEN, N.J. (WPVI) -- Two people were injured after a car struck a Camden County police cruiser on Sunday morning.

The crash happened just before 7 a.m. at the intersection of Broadway and Line Street.

Investigators say the striking vehicle crossed the center line and broadsided the police car.

The cruiser went up on the sidewalk and through a fence.

Those injured include a police officer. Both have minor injuries.

An investigation into this crash continues.
