Two children and an adult were injured when authorities say someone threw fireworks into a crowd in Wilmington.

WILMINGTON, Del. (WPVI) -- Two children and an adult were injured when authorities say someone threw fireworks into a crowd in Wilmington.



It happened outside the William Anderson Hicks Community Center on the 500 block of Madison Street shortly after 8:10 Thursday night.



Authorities say what was believed to be an M80 was tossed into the crowd.



Two children, ages 2 and 4, were taken to A.I. DuPont Hospital for Children and an adult was transported to Wilmington Hospital for treatment.



No word on their conditions but officials say the injuries do not appear to be life-threatening.



No arrests have been made. Police are still investigating.
