High School students showing off their green thumbs

SHARON HILL, Pa. (WPVI) -- Students from the Southeast Delaware county School District are showing off their green thumbs.

The Philadelphia Horticulture Society Junior Flower Show was held at Academy Park High School in Sharon Hill.

Students from the area were encouraged to take part and learn about growing, gardening and sustainable practices.

Students with winning entries will have them displayed at the the Philadelphia Flower Show in March and win free tickets.
