Man shot multiple times, killed in Camden

CAMDEN, N.J. (WPVI) -- A man has died after being shot multiple times in Camden.

It happened around 6:20 p.m. in the 1100 block of Empire Avenue.

The victim, 36-year-old Thaddeus Pitts, was found on the sidewalk, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.

He was rushed to Cooper University Hospital where he later died.

No word yet on a suspect or a possible motive.
