WEST PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- A burning mattress forced the evacuation of several guests at the Blue Moon Hotel in West Philadelphia.
The fire started after 9 a.m. Friday on the 5100 block of Westminster Avenue.
Firefighters arrived quickly and got the situation under control within minutes.
Officials say a maintenance worker was able to put the mattress fire out before crews arrived.
There were no injuries reported.
No word on how the mattress caught on fire.
