Driver injured after crashing in Cherry Hill, N.J.

CHERRY HILL, N.J. -- Police say a driver in a pick-up truck was injured after crashing in Cherry Hill, New Jersey Friday night.

The accident occurred just before 7:30 p.m. in the southbound lanes of I-295 near mile marker 35.2.

According to police, the driver lost control and crashed into the southbound lanes.

Crews had to rescue the driver from his vehicle.

He suffered severe injuries to the lower extremities.

There is no word on his condition.

The identity of the victim has not been released.
