Fire damages homes in Camden, NJ

CAMDEN, N.J. (WPVI) -- Several homes caught fire Friday morning in Camden.

The flames broke out at 9:30 a.m. on Mechanic Street near Louis Street.

The fire quickly spread to a nearby home, prompting firefighters to call for backup before declaring the situation under control.

There were no reports of injuries.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
