Kid injured in Philadelphia shooting

PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- Philadelphia police are investigating a shooting that left a 9-year-old boy injured Friday night.

The incident happened around 6:30 p.m. in the 300 block of West Allegheny Avenue.

Police said someone fired a shot at a vehicle and the shattered glass struck the minor in the head.

A private vehicle rushed the victim to Temple University Hospital. He is in stable condition.

No weapons were recovered at the scene, police said.

So far, no arrests have been made.
