Man hospitalized after shooting in Spring Garden

SPRING GARDEN -- A man was hospitalized after a shooting in the Spring Garden section of Philadelphia early Saturday morning.

The shooting occurred around 1:30 a.m. outside the Spring Garden Apartments near the intersection of North 7th and Green Streets.

Police say a 23-year-old male was shot multiple times in both legs.

He was taken by ambulance to Hahnemann Hospital in stable condition.

So far, no arrests or word on a motive.

The victim's name has not been released.
